Spain e-Invoicing Mandate

Prepare for Spain’s Verifactu and Crea y Crece
(B2B e-invoicing)

From 2027 onwards, Spain is introducing their e-invoicing framework for 2 categories: Verifactu will be focusing on corporate taxpayers SMEs and self-employed parties; meanwhile the Crea y Crece e-invoicing and e-reporting will begin later in the year. Most businesses are likely impacted by both mandates on different timelines.

What to expect from the Verifactu rollout

All corporate taxpayers must comply from 1 January 2027. SMEs and self-employed parties will be regulated from 1 July 2027.

What to expect from the Crea y Crece rollout

The mandate is expected to go live on 1 October 2027 for large businesses and 1 October 2028 for all other businesses.
